Stories about this litter as told by:

Gaelic Pride's Enchanted Katie Rose

Mommy said you all wanted to see pictures of my brothers and sisters so she went out and bought a brand new camera and has been taking pictures for two days. Honestly, she is going to wear it out if she doesn't stop.

I will start with me telling a secret to sister Maggie (red girl), we tell a lot of secrets to each other.

Albie, (blk boy), is my favorite brother, he's nice to me too but sometimes he doesn't realize how big he is and accidentally hurts me but I still love him anyway. Mommy said his ears fell over, what ever that means, so she had to cut the hair off them to help them stand back up. I laugh at him 'cause he looks so funny right now.

Romeo, (yellow boy), thinks he's the toughest and once in a while I have to put him in his place. We found out today when we were all playing outside that he is afraid of motorcycle noise and the rest of us laughed at him. I think we hurt his feelings 'cause he run to Mommy and cried. It wasn't long before we all got him to playing and he was OK . Mommy is always saying, "Romeo Romeo where for art though" and he goes running to Mommy with the cutest smile on his face. His new Mommy is an English teacher.

Pink girl, she doesn't have a new name yet, is our beauty queen or at least she thinks so. Mommy lets her think she is the pick of the litter and we just go along with it, we don't want to hurt pink girl's feelings.

And here's another picture of my favorite sister Maggie, she's so gentle with me and I am sure going to miss her. Maggie will be the last one to be delivered to her new home in Mass. so we still have a few weeks together.

Mommy says she will be updating our web page and has a lot more pictures of us playing, I will let you know when she gets it done.

That's my report for now.........'What did you say Mommy?"........oh yeah, I now weigh 1 lb. 12 ozs and eating all the time trying to catch up with the others.

Shhhhh......don't tell Mommy I actually hope I stay small and cute so everyone will make a big fuss over me, so far it's working.....giggle.

Just because I am cute and little and get all of mommy's
attention my brother Romeo thinks he can pick on me.

Mommy had her camera ready yesterday to prove just how tough I really am

We were all outside playing and having a good time,
I'm the blurry fluff ball in the back.

All of a sudden my brother Romeo decided he was
going to pick on me and had me pinned to the ground
and I got really, really mad.

The last thing you want to do is make me mad.
I might be little but I am mighty and when he realize that
he started to run away.

Brother Albie and sister Maggie stayed back standing
ready to help me if I needed it but they know
how tough I am so they stayed out of my way.

Once I had Romeo on the run than Albie and Maggie started to chase him too

All I had to do was sit back and let Albie and Maggie finish the job for me

And here I am guarding the food bowl, it's a tough job but someone has to do it

Katie Rose

takes a trip

Wednesday April 12, 2006

Mommy took me on a short trip to Auntie Shirley's to see how I would
travel and to leave mommy Fiona, Emily and Casey to stay while we were gone. Silly mommy should know that all Gaelic Pride babies like to
travel. I not only got to see Auntie Shirley but I got to see her new
baby she was bottle feeding, he was so cute but I couldn't play with
him because he was so tiny. I didn't know baby Westies could be
smaller than me.

Friday April 14, 2006

We left Mommy's house in the morning to take a long trip
to make some very special deliveries of my brothers and sisters.
I didn't know when you take a trip with my mommy that she tries to
go around the world in 80 days or I would have packed more of my
personal things.

Our first night we stopped in Nashville, TN to deliver my big brother
to his brand new forever home. I didn't know Albie was going to go live
with my Auntie Alice and Uncle Jay, boy is he one lucky little guy. Mommy is very good at keeping secrets from me it seems.

Saturday April 15

Mommy said we had all day to get to Romeo's new home so we could just take our time and enjoy the scenery as we traveled along. Of course our favorite stops were potty breaks. In TN we had this really cute little boy come over to play with us, he reminded us of Nathaniel and was about the same age. We had so much fun playing with him.

We were sad to see him have to go because now we had to deal with the big people who were so rude sometimes. I got so tired of being called a runt I wanted to bite everyone who called me that nasty word. I wanted yell,
"I AM NOT A RUNT, I AM JUST DIFFERENT."

Mommy has a new camera that takes pictures close up from far away and since we were supposed to enjoy the scenery she stopped and took a lot of pretty pictures. I hope you enjoy her pretty pictures of the flowers because I had to sit quietly and tap my little while she played with her camera. It's a darn good thing I had a car seat to look out the window or I would have been very angry with her.

Enjoy mommy's flower pictures and one is of a bridge behind the trees in TN

We spent the night in beautiful Ashville, NC

Sunday April 16

We drove to Greenville, NC today where Romeo was going to be living. Mommy was driving very carefully through the mountains and I'm sure glad she did. Around one curve we saw a SUV turned over and heard later on the news that a man, woman and little baby died in the crash, it made mommy very sad to hear about that.

And finally that night I got to meet Romeo's new mommy. She is ever so nice and just thought he was the cutest little thing in the world, boy is she ever in for a surprise. Can you believe she was the first person who didn't make a great big fuss over me? She was so happy to finally get Romeo and I stayed in the background and let her enjoy her new little boy.

Monday April 17

Oh boy.....today is the day I get to see the big Atlantic Ocean.
Mommy says we are going to Virginia Beach and hopefully we can walk down to the ocean. It is also the day we get to Uncle Don's and meet the kitties.

Along the way we stopped at a small tourist town to have our lunch. It was a really nice place except the birds kept swooping down trying to get me, I was so very scared. Mommy said they were Seagulls and they would eat anything the could pick up so mommy put a cover over my little play pen. Mommy took pictures of the silly birds all lined up on the fence and than she took pictures of a beautiful old house across the small bay, it had cannons on the shore too.

We headed on down the road towards Virginia Beach. The sky started to get cloudy and it started to get colder and mommy kept saying she was afraid it would be raining by the time we got there so she could promise me I would get to see the big ocean.

Well mommy was right but she tried to get close to the beach anyway so I could look out the window but all the motels on the beach blocked our view and than it got real windy and started to rain really hard so mommy sad we might as well just keep going.

Mommy took a road she thought would get us back to the freeway but she ended up getting lost and kept going in circles. I tried to tell mommy that my little head was spinning and she really needed to stop and ask for directions but she went in circles for almost two hours before she finally asked how to get to the right road. Gee, it was right in front of us but mommy's head was mixed up and she didn't know what direction she was going.

It was so cold by the time we got on the right road in the right direction that mommy finally turned the heat on 'cause my little nose and feet were cold and I started to shiver. It was so warm in the morning in NC and now it seems like we were in another world with the wind, rain and cold.

After getting out of the cities and the rain let up a little bit mommy found a place behind a gas station so she could let us all out to go potty and not be bothered by people making goggle eyes over us. Wouldn't you know it that as soon as we got out in our little play pens that kids showed up. One kid called me a runt, I swear that if one more person calls me that I am going to bite them. Oh how I wish I knew how to scream and tell peoples to quit calling me a runt.

We finally got to Uncle Don's about 7 pm and boy was Uncle Don and aunt Mihoko glad to see us. They were especially glad to see their new puppy Rosie. Of course they thought I was cute too and Aunt Mihoko wanted t keep me but mommy I belong to only one person and she wasn't letting me go. I was sure glad to hear that 'cause I don't want to leave mommy, not right now anyway. Here is a picture of Uncle Don and Aunt Mihoko and Rosie.

Tuesday April 18

Today we get to stay all day at Uncle Don's before we have to get in the car and drive some more to get Keri and Maggie to their new homes.

Grandma Misty met the cats today and the race was on, she don't like cats. Boy can those cats run and Grandma kept slipping on the floors and lost them. Grandma has to stay downstairs so she doesn't bother the cats and mommy is afraid they will hurt little me so I stay down with Grandma and mommy is down with us most of the time. Mommy even sleeps on the floor down there on a thin mattress called a Japanese futon.

Well we have to rest up 'cause we are going to go see Auntie Thelma tomorrow. I heard she has a real cute little boy dog staying with her, maybe I can blink my little eyes and make friends with him.
